K & E Mututal provides support during pandemic

An insurance company is looking to do its part to help community members during difficult times brought on by the COVID-19 crisis.

Kent & Essex Mutual Insurance has donated $25,000 to several organizations that are helping people within Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

“This is an unusual and difficult time for everyone, not the least of which are people struggling to afford the essential supplies they need for themselves and their families,” said Kevin Konecny, president and CEO of Kent & Essex Mutual. “Our goal has always been to provide grassroots support to the people in our communities who need it most."

The insurance company is deemed an essential service, but like many places of business, it has had to transition to an at-home work environment during the pandemic.
