Beach bus sits empty during COVID-19 crisis

Since public beaches remain closed in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, Chatham-Kent's Seasonal Beach Bus will have its operations put on hold until further notice.

The seasonal bus route was scheduled to begin operations on May 15. It typically runs on a weekday schedule until Labour Day and serves the Chatham, Erieau, and Mitchell’s Bay areas, with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross, and Blenheim.

Public beaches are expected to remain closed until at least May 31.

Schedule changes have been made to regular CK Transit operations during the COVID-19 pandemic as well.
