Yes. The Easter Bunny is an essential service

Premier Doug Ford has declared the Easter Bunny an essential service provider in Ontario.

Ford confirmed it Tuesday to the relief of children across the province who may have been concerned the Easter Bunny would not be allowed to deliver treats this holiday weekend.

An official declaration has been circulating on social media.

"I hereby confirm that the Easter Bunny is an essential service provider, and authorize to deliver Easter chocolate, candy, and related treats to the children of Ontario," read the declaration.

However, the Easter Bunny is barred from delivering services in parks, playgrounds, and other outdoor recreational amenities as per the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
