Warden comments on long term care visitation

The Huronview Home for the Aged in Clinton and Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels have announced they're restricting their visiting hours to protect their residents.

Warden, Jin Ginn, says, given the speed at which the Coronavirus is spreading, it's important to look after the residents of long term care homes.

We want to take all of the precautions we can. Obviously our long term care residents are some of our most vulnerable citizens to the virus, so we're trying to keep them as safe as we can.”
Ginn adds exceptions are being made for people visiting palliative care or seriously ill residents and says in that situation, it wouldn't be right not to let them in.
