Canadians abroad urged to come home

The federal government is advising Canadians abroad to get back to Canada while they still can.

Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne tweeted Saturday "We recommend that Canadian travellers return to Canada via commercial means while they remain available."

The government previously advised Canadians to avoid all non-essential international travel due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
