Police seek suspect after home fire-bombed

Police are looking for help to identify a suspect after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a home in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Thursday shortly after 6 a.m., a person threw the flaming bottle at a residence on Sarah Crescent causing damage to the front porch and kitchen window.

Five people were inside the home at the time but no one was injured.

The Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
