Chatham woman wins dream vacation

The winner of Community Living Wallaceburg's Dream Vacation Lottery is one of the agency's own.

Aline Middleton of Chatham was announced on Wednesday as the grand prize winner of a $4,000 dream vacation as part of the Travel Club Lottery. The lottery is yearly is a fundraising initiative conducted by Community Living.

Middleton, who has worked for Community Living Wallaceburg for the last 20 years, is now in the process of planning an all-inclusive vacation to a tropical location to celebrate her husband's 50th birthday and the couple's fifth wedding anniversary.

The draw took place on January 1, 2020, and is the first of six getaways that will be drawn over the course of 2020. An additional 12 cash prizes are also up for grabs as part of the lottery.

All proceeds raised from the Travel Club Lottery go toward services and supports for people in Chatham-Kent with intellectual disabilities.
