Maroons fall to Kings 4-1

The Chatham Maroons lost to the Komoka Kings 4-1 at the Chatham Memorial Arena on Sunday.

Dallas Maurovic scored the first goal of the game 4:37 into the first period. Komoka's Blake McConnell answered with a goal which was followed by a goal from Cameron Welch.

Jacob Rochford extended the Kings' lead to two with a goal 0:56 into the second period.

Rochford scored an empty-net goal 18:36 into the third period.

Chatham goalie Bryce Walcarius saved 24 out of 27 shots on net.

The Maroons will travel to face off against the Leamington Flyers on Thursday. Puck drops at 7:10 p.m.
