The Chatham Maroons are gearing up for a busy weekend with games against Komoka and St. Marys on tap.
Chatham will kick things off with a road trip to face the Kings at the Komoka Wellness Centre Saturday night.
The Maroons will enter that game coming off of a big win over second-place Leamington on Sunday and a roster shake-up earlier this week.
Chatham sent its captain Griffin Robinson and alternate captain Maddux Rychel to the Leamington Flyers in exchange for Lucas Fancy and Cam Symons earlier this week after Robinson and Rychel requested a trade.
The Komoka Kings are also coming into the game off of a win -- they beat Strathroy 4-1 on the road Tuesday night and St. Thomas 10-0 Friday. Those wins snapped a seven-game losing skid for the Kings. They had been struggling recently with only two wins since the beginning of November.

Maroons collecting donations Sunday for Winter Warmth campaign
After Saturday's game versus Komoka, the Maroons will return home Sunday for a matchup against the St. Marys Lincolns.
Fans who are planning to attend Sunday's game are also being asked to bring new pairs of adult-sized socks as part of the United Way's Winter Warmth program.
They are hoping to collect at least 200 pairs at the game.
The socks will be part of care packages that will be sent out to various outreach programs to those at risk and people who are experiencing homelessness in Chatham-Kent.
Volunteers will be putting together the bags on Monday, December 16 inside the United Way office so they can be ready for the various distribution days in December and in January.
