Maroons top Lincolns 3-2 in overtime

The Chatham Maroons defeated the St. Mary's Lincolns 3-2 in overtime on Sunday.

Both teams failed to score a goal in the first period.

Tate Bowden scored the first goal of the game for Chatham 8:53 into the second period. Cayse Ton scored a power-play goal for the Lincolns.

The Maroons' Braedon Caetano scored 2:25 into the second period. Ton responded back with a goal, forcing the game into overtime.

Dallas Maurovic scored a power-play goal in overtime giving the win to Chatham.

Chatham goalie Kevin Linker saved 39 out of 41 shots on net.

The Maroons will face off against the LaSalle Vipers on Sunday. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
