Sound equipment, guitars stolen during church break-in

Sunday's service at Joshua Ministries in Chatham could be a little quieter than normal after its facility was targeted by thieves this week.

Chatham-Kent police said someone broke into the church's facility at the former Pines Chapel on Grand Avenue West sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday morning and took off with some musical equipment and electronics.

The following items were reported stolen:

- Two Behringer microphones

- Two Behringer 15” tower speakers

- Two soundboards

- Projector

- 17.3” Toshiba laptop computer

- Fender Strat electric guitar

- Seagull acoustic guitar

- Boxes of canteen candy

The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $9,000.
