A Chatham home protection company has been acquired by a home security firm in Leamington.
Security ONE Alarm Systems headquartered in Leamington has bought R&T Security Services of Chatham.
“Since 1998, R&T Security Services has been providing top-notch customer service to a very loyal group of clients that we are proud to welcome to the Security ONE family,” said Chris Neumann, president of Security ONE.
Security ONE said local customers will continue to see the same friendly faces because the existing R&T technical team is staying.
“It was critical that we found a partner that aligns with our customer care values," Frank de Jong, president of R&T Security Services wrote in a letter to customers. "Our combined organization will benefit greatly from Security ONE’s extensive security and monitoring expertise and will introduce a variety of new products and services.”
R&T Security customers will now have access to advanced automated and smart security solutions, monitored video surveillance, hosted access control and ULC (Underwriters Laboratories of Canada, an independent product safety testing, certification, and inspection organization) fire and life safety solutions offered by Security ONE.
“Most notably the only ULC listed, CSAA Five Diamond Certified monitoring station in Southern Ontario, as well as the secure MySecurityONE online account management portal,” Neumann said.
R&T customers will also now have access to exclusive discounts and services from KELCOM, a sister company of Security ONE.
Security ONE has four offices in Leamington, Windsor, Chatham and London.
