Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to track down a man who is wanted in connection with an assault at an establishment in downtown Chatham over the weekend.
Police said the suspect is accused of assaulting another man at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, adding that the victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Investigators said at the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a toque high on his head, an unzipped hoodie, and a white t-shirt.
