Business booming at Frick's Fish & Chips' new location

The owner of Frick's Fish & Chips in Chatham is settling into her new location.

After being at their former Queen Street and Park Avenue location for several decades, Frick's Fish & Chips have established their new home at 541 Queen Street.

Their grand re-opening was Monday and according to owner Teri-Lynn Harlick, business has been booming so far.

"We've tripled and quadrupled the business every day. The numbers are amazing," she said.

Harlick said the new location boasts 30 seats, more parking and a brighter atmosphere. She said once they get settled in, customers can expect new menu items.

"We have new menu items coming after Easter," Harlick explained. "We just wanted to get into the new place and get a feel for things. It's a different set up so there's a lot of changes for the staff so we are waiting until after Easter. Then we will have a broiled fish, a green salad, seafood coleslaw and fish tacos."

Harlick says by the end of each day, the new location has run out of menu items due to the high volume of customers. As they adapt to the business's growing numbers, she wants people to know she's grateful for their support.

"Thanks for your patronage and can't wait to see you. [We] hope you like the new place."
