Break-ins at storage facility

Police are investigating after several storage units were broken into at 161 1st Concession Line in Wheatley.

The break-in occurred during the early hours of February 17. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who has information or anyone who notices property missing from their storage units to email Costable Kadour at [email protected]

Man found in possession of meth 

Shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday police observed a 31-year-old man in the Elizabeth Street area in Chatham.

The man was allegedly found to be breaching his bail conditions and arrested. Upon searching him, police said they found him in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged and held for a bail hearing.
