Chatham-Kent OPP lay another 401 speeding charge

An Essex man suspected of having booze on his breath has been charged with speeding on Highway 401.

Provincial police said a vehicle was caught doing more than 130 kilometres per hour near Charing Cross Road in Chatham on Monday afternoon. Police add the driver also refused to provide a breath sample into the roadside screening device after being asked by officers, who suspected he had been drinking alcohol.

Young Hotson, 40, of Essex has been charged with failing or refusing to provide a breath sample and speeding.
