Man Bitten By Dog In Chatham

Chatham-Kent Animal Control Services officials are investigating after a man was bitten twice on the wrist by a dog in Chatham Friday morning.

Manager Jason Hamm says a dog, described as a 2 1/2-year-old American Bulldog, bit a 54-year-old man while he was walking along Gray St. in Chatham at around 10am.

Hamm says the dog was tied to a wheelchair, but it was able to pull the wheelchair over to the man before biting him twice.

The man who was bitten attended the hospital in Chatham for treatment.
