Two people were injured, one of them critically, in a single-vehicle crash that closed the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 west of London for a few hours.
Elgin OPP say the crash happened around 10:40am on Friday in the westbound lanes between Iona Rd. and Currie Rd. Police say a vehicle going west went out of control and entered the ditch, where it rolled over.
The male driver was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a female passenger was treated at the scene.
The westbound lanes of the highway between Iona Rd. and Currie Rd., reopened to traffic just before 3pm Friday afternoon.
