Man Charged With Impaired Driving After Crash

A Tilbury man is facing impaired driving charges after a collision on Hwy. 401 on Thursday.

Around 12:30am, police responded to a crash near Belle River Rd. involving a passenger vehicle a transport truck.

OPP say the passenger vehicle struck the tractor-trailer and came to rest in the median.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was injured. He was also allegedly showing signs of impairment and was arrested.

The 32-year-old from Tilbury is facing charges of impaired driving. His driver's licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized.
