Teen Boy Assaulted During Lunch Break

Chatham-Kent police say three teens are charged with assault after a 14-year-old boy was beaten up during his school lunch break in Chatham.

Officers say they were called to a high school in Chatham Monday morning after a 14-year-old was assaulted off school property by three teens who all know him.

The boy who was beaten up was taken to the hospital for medical treatment of undisclosed injuries and later released.

Police say two 15-year-old boys from Chatham and one 14-year-old boy from Chatham were all arrested and charged with assault in connection with the investigation. They have all been released with conditions and a future court date.
