Teen Charged For Allegedly Posting A Threatening Photo

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 15-year-old from Wallaceburg in connection with a threatening photo posted to social media.

Police say officers were notified of a threatening photo posted to Instagram, which referenced Wallaceburg District Secondary School. However, details of what the photo displayed have not been released.

After investigating, police say they were able to identify the teen who allegedly made the threat. The youth has been charged with uttering threats.

The teen's parents have been notified. The 15-year-old will have to go to court on April 30.
