Woman, Children Struck By Vehicle

A driver has been charged after three pedestrians, including two children, were struck by a vehicle in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service says sometime late Monday morning, a woman and the two children were crossing Wellington St. W at William St. S when they were struck by a vehicle making a turn.

All three pedestrians were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries before being released the same day.

The driver of the vehicle has since been charged with making an unsafe turn.
