Tricker, Langan Represent Team Canada Again

Two Chatham-Kent ball hockey players will be joining Team Canada for the 2018 World Ball Hockey Federation Championships in Russia in June.

Forward Hokey Langan from Chatham and defenseman Rachael Tricker from Thamesville were both selected by the National Ball Hockey Association of Canada to play on the 2018 Women's team.

"It is a tremendous accomplishment to be chosen to represent your country in any sport," says Stephen Dockerty, the team's General Manager. "We are thrilled with the 19 players selected and we know they will wear the Maple Leaf with great pride."

Langan and Tricker are both among 15 of the team's players who have represented Canada on the international stage in prior tournaments. They both played on the team that took home gold from the 2017 championships in the Czech Republic.

This year's tournament takes place from June 12-17 in Moscow, Russia.
