Snow Plow Gets Slammed On Hwy. 401

A Chatham transport truck driver has been charged after running into a snow plow in Chatham-Kent Friday afternoon.

Chatham Kent OPP Constable Jay Denorer says the truck was travelling westbound on Hwy. 401 near Kent Bridge Rd. around noon when it slammed into the rear of the plow. The snow plow ended up in the median and rolled onto its side.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

The 62-year-old truck driver from Chatham is charged with careless driving.

The road was closed for about an hour while the scene was cleared.
