Many decorated rocks are being hidden around the Chatham-Kent area for locals to discover.

The scavenger hunt is a part of an ongoing local club called "Tilbury Rocks," which was created last month by CK resident Nicolle Hilbert.

"I was on Facebook a couple weeks ago and I saw something come across my newsfeed. It was a rock painting group out of Florida. They paint rocks [and] hide them around town for other people to find," says Hilbert.

According to Hilbert, locals of all ages can participate by decorating, hiding, or finding rocks.

"Right now we're standing at about 430 members. There's quite a bit of interest in it [around] town. The kids are having a blast finding and painting the rocks for everyone else," says Hilbert.

For more information, people can visit the Tilbury Rocks Facebook group.
