Police Investigate Leamington Crash

Authorities are trying to determine what caused a crash in Leamington Saturday.

It happened soon before 6pm. Leamington Fire says two vehicles were involved in the collision on Albuna Townline Rd near County Rd 18. One of the vehicles caught on fire and hydro wires were knocked down as a result.

The occupants of both vehicles were able to escape so there was no immediate report of injuries. However, Albuna Townline Rd was closed between Rd 18 and Hwy 3 so police could complete their investigation.

Ontario Provincial Police and Kingsville Fire assisted on scene. The area was reopened to traffic shortly before 9:30pm.
