Recalled Tart Shells Sold In Dresden, Wallaceburg

An ever-expanding flour recall now includes tart shells that were sold in Dresden and Wallaceburg.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Dresden Meat Packers is recalling certain tart shells due to possible E. coli contamination.

The affected Unbaked 3" Frozen Sweet Tart Shells were sold from March 15, 2017 to April 29, 2017.

They were sold at Dresden Meat Packers on McCreary Line and at Dresden Meat & Deli on McNaughton Ave. in Wallaceburg.

The CFIA says if you find the recalled product in your home, you should throw it out or return it to the store where it was purchased.

There have been reported illnesses associated with flour at the centre of the recall, but so far, there have not been any confirmed illnesses associated with the tart shells that were sold in Dresden and Wallaceburg.
