According to police, the crash took place at the corner of Wellington St. W and Raleigh St. at around 2:30pm Tuesday.
The girl was on a bike at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
At this point, it's not clear if the 61-year-old Chatham man who was driving the vehicle that hit the girl will be facing any charges.
