Chatham's Downtown Crowded With Car Lovers

The downtown area was busier than ever with car lovers snapping pictures of the retro models on display.

Some people even looked on the inside of the cars and tested out the seats, with the permission of the owners of course. Kent Historic Auto Club President Len Langlois was the head of the committee for choosing this year's lineup.

Langlois says the car owners come from several surrounding cities to show off their vintage rides.

Besides the car show, the festival also had many family-friendly activities nearby in Tecumseh Park including musicians, inflatables, vendors, and pony rides.

Organizer Connie Beneteau says RetroFest usually has over 20 thousand attendees annually.
