OPP: Watch Out For Each Other On The Roads

The spring weather is here and the OPP are reminding drivers to pay close attention to cyclists and motorcycle riders.

Officials say more bicycles and motorcycles are on the road these days and offer the following hints for everyone to enjoy a safe, injury free spring.

Drivers are asked to take a good look before pulling out into traffic.

Cyclists are urged to follow the rules of the road and road signage and always wear a helmet when riding.

Motorcyclists are asked to drive defensively and make themselves seen.

Pedestrians are urged to use crosswalks and sidewalks when available and look both ways before crossing.
