Robert Mugridge has been charged with fraud in relation to loans obtained from financial services, the public and police officers.
He's been suspended from duty since 2014 following an internal investigation led by the London Police Service.
The police act hearing was delayed three times on Monday and should resume Tuesday at 2pm at the Bradley Centre.
