One person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401 in Windsor.
Essex County OPP say on Tuesday around 4pm, police responded to a collision involving three tractors and an SUV, in the westbound lanes of the highway under the Todd Lane overpass.
Police have confirmed that one person has died as a result of the crash. The name of the victim is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
The westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 at Exit 7 were shut down for several hours while police investigated the crash. The highway was reopened around midnight.
