Police say they recovered the body of Michael Michiels of Riverview Line, from the Thames River around 2:30pm, Wednesday.
The Chatham-Kent Police marine unit, with help from an OPP dive team, have been searching the water all week.
It's believed he may have slipped into the river, while he was out looking for his dog.
A post mortem was conducted in London on Thursday. His death isn't considered suspicious.
