Remembrance Day Closures

A number of roads and municipal offices will be closed on Friday for Remembrance Day.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will be operating with limited services. Routine x-rays, electrocardiograms (EKG), and ultrasounds will not be available, and neither will services at the Oncology/Chemotherapy Department.

However, the Emergency Departments in Chatham and Wallaceburg are always open 24-hours a day and Hemodialysis Care will be open.

A number of municipal services are also affected by the holiday.

Garbage and recycling will go ahead on a regular schedule, but most municipal offices are closed -- that includes all branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.

All arenas will be open during normal operational hours -- so will the Blenheim Gable Reese Rotary Pool and the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool.

All CK Transit services will be open and operating as per their normal hours.
