Animal Cruelty Suspect Wants Answers

The fourth man accused in a Tilbury dog fighting ring hopes to find out where his pit bulls are.

The lawyer for 32-year-old Robert Tomlin is expected in a Chatham court Friday, to see if his client can get his eight dogs back. They were seized when the Kent Bridge man was arrested in March.

Tomlin is charged with two counts of animal cruelty.

Attorney Frank Retar also wants disclosure of evidence to move the case along. Disclosure has been supposedly held up because the lead Crown attorney in the case has been on vacation.

Court proceedings are expected to start around 10am.
