Knights Take Game 1

The London Knights beat the Niagara IceDogs 4-1 in Game 1 of the OHL championship series on Thursday.

After a scoreless first period, Niagara took a 1-0 lead in the second, but London answered with three of their own going into the third. The Knights scored one final unanswered goal in the third to cap off their win.

Owen MacDonald, Chandler Yakimowicz, Christian Dvorak and Mitchell Marner all score once for London.

Tyler Parsons stopped 27 of 28 shots and was named the game's first star.

The two teams return to Budweiser Gardens on Saturday at 7pm for Game 2.
