The University of Windsor's Board of Governors has approved an increase in tuition for the 2016-17 school year.
The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities has capped the average annual tuition fee increase at an average 3% for domestic students, but institutions are allowed flexibility within that framework, so the hike is more for some programs than others.
Undergraduate domestic students will pay 2% to 5% more depending on the program, while graduate students will pay in the range of 1% to 5% more.
Full-time international students attending undergraduate programs will see their tuition rise 3.4% and 7.8%, and the fees for international graduate students will increase between 4% and 6.7%.
The university says it supports students through a series of bursaries, scholarships, and awards as well as aid and assistance.
