The Knights took a 3-0 lead in the first period and extended their lead to 4-1 in the second. London added another two unanswered goals in the third to seal the win.
Daniel Bernhardt led the Knights with two goals, while Mitchell Marner, Aaron Berisha, Matthew Tkachuk and Nicolas Mattinen each had one.
The two teams face off again in London for Game 3 on Tuesday at 7pm.
