Police Hunt For Aggressive Driver

Chatham-Kent police officers are on the lookout for a driver with serious road rage.

Police say a motorist came to them after a run-in with an aggressive driver at Grand Ave. and St. Clair St. The victim says around 3:30pm Saturday someone driving a red Pontiac Firebird or Sunfire tried to cut him off.

The man continued to follow the victim, reportedly trying to hit his vehicle.

The chase came to a head in a south Chatham neighbourhood. That's where the victim claims the male suspect got out of his Pontiac with a crowbar. He smashed two windows of the victim's vehicle and damaged the top of it before leaving.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatham-Kent police or Crime Stoppers.
