Spitfires Fall To Sting

The Sarnia Sting beat the Windsor Spitfires 2-1 on Friday to hold onto first place in the West Division.

The Sting were able to take a 1-0 lead in the first period and continue to lead 2-1 in the second. The Spitfires were unable to tie the game and fell to Sarnia after no scoring in the third.

Christian Fischer scored Windsor's only goal.

The Spits return to the ice on Saturday to take on the North Bay Battalion at 7:05pm.
