Maroons Look To Go Up 2-0 On St. Thomas

The Chatham Maroons will look to open their first round playoff series with two straight wins when they travel to St. Thomas to face the Stars.

Captain Ian Faubert says they'll look to carry the emotion from last night's win into tonight.

"Any win in that room is amazing, the group of guys we have there it makes it that much more fun," says Faubert. "You saw us after every goal we scored, we were pretty excited, so we just need to keep that momentum going."

Chatham scored three unanswered goals in the third period last night to come away with a 4-3 victory.

Puck drop is set for 7:30pm tonight at the Timken Community Centre in St. Thomas. The game can be heard live on AM630 CFCO or at BlackburnNews.com.
