UPDATE: Freezing Rain Warning Ended

A Freezing Rain Warning issued by Environment Canada for Chatham-Kent and Windsor Essex is now ended.

Upon the warning being issued, meteorologist Etienne Gregoire spoke with BlackburnNews.com.

"We're following the track of that storm very carefully," says Gregoire. "If that track changes, we will quickly update any watches or warnings."

Winds will gust up to 60km/hr (37mph) or 45km/hr (28mph) tomorrow, so Gregoire says visibility will be a problem, especially in open areas.

"Whatever snow's going to fall overnight will start blowing around," Gregoire adds.

The forecast calls for up to 10cm (4in.). of snow. While a parking ban is not in effect in Chatham-Kent, municipal officials are asking the public to help snow removal crews by keeping parked vehicles off municipal streets if possible.

The worst of the storm should pass by 3am Wednesday.
