Temps Down Then Up And Repeat

Get ready for some yo-yo temperatures as a system moving through the area will drop temperatures today and tonight.

Emergency preparedness meteorologist Geoff Coulson says that could cause problems for drivers.

"Poor visibility locally with some blowing snow with that fresh snow we had overnight and first thing this morning," Coulson says. "We have a chilly day, temperatures falling, we are going to have a chilly wake up on Wednesday, temperatures about -13 C (9 F) only struggling up to a high of -9 C (16 F) but then warmer air does start to move back into the area for Thursday Friday and Saturday."

However Coulson says beginning Sunday it will get colder again and for the first part of next week they will be back below seasonal averages.
