Officers located the body of 77-year-old William Lloyd Steeper inside a Chrysler vehicle in Rondeau Bay, near Ferguson and Water St. on Thursday around 6:30am.
Police say Steeper was previously reported missing in London.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
According to the Northern Tornadoes Project, a funnel made contact with the ground just southeast of London.
