St. Thomas of Villanova is one of just 15 Canadian high schools to receive a golden football from the NFL.
The league is celebrating the Super Bowl's 50th anniversary this season, and is recognizing high schools across North America that have helped to groom its stars.
After appearing in the last two Super Bowl's, Seattle Seahawks Tight End Luke Willson delivered the golden ball to his former high school in LaSalle.
"They've got a game today too. To see all the guys in their uniforms, getting ready to go, it kind of reminded me of the old days so it's fun. It's fun being back."
As a token of appreciation, the NFL is also donating $5,000 to Villanova's football program.
