Questions About The Future Of The Clinton OMAFRA Office

The Mayor of Central Huron is looking for answers from OMAFRA regarding the future of its office in Clinton.

Jim Ginn explains that many of the people who had been working out of the Clinton Office have retired and not been replaced.

He adds OMAFRA staff in Huron commonly look after three counties; Huron, Perth and Lambton.

He understands they have the option of working out of whatever office they see fit, so even staff working in Huron may not be working out of the Clinton office.

Ginn says it would be a shame of the largest agricultural county in the province was left without an OMAFRA office.

Other municipalities have also expressed their concerns to Central Huron.
