Hockey Returns To CFCO

Chatham Maroons and Toronto Maple Leafs hockey is returning to CFCO this season.

All Maroons away games and select home games, and numerous Leafs games will be broadcasted on Country 92-9 FM, 630 AM CFCO.

Mike Regnier, voice of the Maroons, says he's excited for the GOJHL opening weekend September 12 and 13 in London.

"This is something new, they're doing a showcase weekend to kick off the regular season," says Regnier. "Every team is going to play two games, one on the Saturday and one on the Sunday. They will count and they'll kick off the regular season, so that will be cool. The Maroons are playing Listowel and Niagara Falls, so a couple of teams out of their conference."

The Chatham Maroons home opener at Memorial Arena is Sunday, September 20 at 7pm.

The Toronto Maple Leafs home opener is Wednesday, October 7 at 7pm.
