Police remain tight-lipped on what caused a fatal crash on Winter Line Rd. in Pain Court.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a 22-year-old Dover Twp. man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single vehicle crash, called in by a passerby, around 7:15am.
Const. Renee Cowell says the older model pick-up truck was travelling southbound on Winter Line Rd. when the driver lost control and the vehicle ended up in the ditch.
"I don't want to get into the specifics of the investigation at this point," says Const. Renee Cowell. "But the debris does go north past Maple Line Rd. so it is quite a distance that our traffic unit will be covering today, again to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision."
Police say next of kin have been notified, but they aren't releasing the name of the man killed in the crash.
