Molotov Cocktail Causes Fire

Chatham-Kent Crimestoppers is investigating after a suspected attempt at arson.

Officials say the fire started at a home on Albert Street just before 2 Friday morning.

Through investigation police and fire crews learned the fire had started when a molotov cocktail had been thrown at the home.

Witnesses say two suspects wearing dark hoodies covering their faces were seen running away from the scene towards South Court.

The fire caused around 500 dollars in damages.
