POLL: Looking At Loonie Optimistically

While the low Canadian dollar is affecting travel plans for some southwestern Ontario residents this weekend, others see it as an overall positive.

"It's not that bad. And I've got a lot of friends who work over there, so it's helpful to them," says Russ Humphrey.

"It's good," adds Wyatt Grail. "I'm sure it brings lots of people from the U.S. over here to spend their money, which is a good thing."

Dave McCann agrees, "It costs a little bit extra for stuff (in the U.S.), but it's going to help the economy."

The loonie hit its lowest level in more than a decade last month, and currently sits at just 77 cents US.
